Featherston Furniture
Grant Featherston is the most collectible of the Australian post second world war modernist designers of furniture and developed the contour range of chairs in the early 50s.
Grant Featherson used bent plywood technology that arose from the aircraft industry during the war and it was furniture manufacturing technology pioneered by Americans Charles and Ray Eames and Eero Saarinen.
